Ray Smith started farming and set the foundation for future generations.
1968
Raymond Smith became the second generation to carry on the proud tradition of Smith Family Farms.
1981
Home base moved to a new 640 acre farm south of Elkhart where the farm still operates out of today.
2001
Invested in advancements in technology that utilized precision satellite accuracy.
2011
RTK sub 1” accuracy that allowed for more advanced practices.
2015
3rd generation makes full transition and introduces satellite-based field health imagery and computer-based weather collection and nitrogen monitoring.
